1.  Application of x-ray absorption spectroscopy ( EXAFS, XANES), small angle x-ray scattering (SXAS) to determine the local/global structure and electronic configuration of material or metalloprotein.

2.  Charge density and theoretical analysis of single crystal or powder diffraction data.

3.  Geometric and electronic structures study on spin transition or charge transfer complexes with external stimuli of temperature, light, or pressure.
